Makson Brothers (BD) Ltd. is a Bangladesh-registered limited company, owned 80% by Al Zaman Group of Oman and 20% by local entrepreneurs.

We proudly operate three of Bangladesh’s finest A-Grade tea estates — Hafiz, Ayeshabagh, and Kaliti — located in the heart of Moulvibazar’s historic tea belt.
Our leadership is guided by Mufti Mohammed Hassan, a veteran tea planter whose decades of experience with James Finlay, Octavius Steel, and Duncan Brothers bring the highest standards of British plantation management to Makson’s operations. Under his stewardship, our estates continue to grow in quality, efficiency, and global recognition.
